Gregory G. Bishop, MD, FACC, FSCAI

Dr. Gregory G. Bishop received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland.  He received a masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University.  He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Maryland Medical System.  He then completed a Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Virginia Health Science Center in Charlottesville, Virginia.  Dr. Bishop is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology.  He has published several papers regarding pathobiology and novel therapties of restenosis in angioplasty.  His interests include interventional cardiology and echocardiography.  Dr. Bishop is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
