W. Lader, MD, FACC
Dr.
Ellis W. Lader received his Medical Degree from the New York University
School of Medicine in 1978. He then completed an internship and
residency at the State University of New York, located in Buffalo
, New York in 1981. Dr. Lader then went on to complete a fellowship
at the New York University School of Medicine in 1983. Dr. Lader
is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease,
and Critical Care Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College
of Cardiology as well as the American Heart Association. He
is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical
Association, New York State Medical Society, American Heart Association,
American College of Cardiology, New York Cardiological Society,
and is Chairman of the Board of Directors at Benedictine Hospital.
Dr. Lader is also the Co-Director of the Critical Care Unit at Benedictine
Hospital and is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine
at the New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Lader is
the Principal Investigator in a number of clinical trials evaluating
heart attacks, elevated cholesterol, heart failure, and stress testing
in women. He also is an active dancer with the Catskill Ballet
Theatre.
