Rachid Elkoustaf, MD, MPH

Dr. Rachid Elkoustaf received a Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry in 2000. He received his undergraduate degree from Columbia University.  He completed a medical internship at The New York Hospital Queens and a Residency & a Fellowship at the University of Connecticut Health Center & Mayo Clinic located in Rochester, MN. Prior to this time, he participated in many summer fellowships in research studies based on pathology, nuclear medicine, epidemiology, and Cardiology. He has a specialty in Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology, and Invasive Cardiology as well as Advanced Adult Cardiology. Dr. Elkoustaf has received many honors & awards he has published in Peer Reviewed Journals and presented his research work at ACC, AHA, SCAI and TCT. He is a current member of the Medical Society of the State of NY, American Heart Association, and the American College of Cardiology.
