Charge Entry Team Member:

We have an opening in our Central Business Office for a Charge Entry Team Member who would be responsible for charge entry and audits of ancillary services performed at the local area hospitals and surgical centers.  Duties include entering ancillary services/testing such as EKG's, echocardiograms, transesophageal echos, stress tests, etc. into the MISYS computer system within four days of receipt.  Other duties include utilizing insurance carrier guidelines to ensure clean claim submission and maintain monthly charge audits to ensure capture of charges.

 

Candidates must have strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-9 and HCPC coding.  Certified Professional Coder preferred.  Candidates should have knowledge of Cardiology and Radiology billing, strong computer skills and knowledge of windows based programs.
